how i got into punk
it all started when pretty fly by the offspring got plenty of air play on mtv, so i simply bought the album liked it, bought all the other albums and loved them. the offspring introduced teh lunachicks to me, they again were produced by fat mike, what made me fall in love with nofx and later on the gimme gimmes. when i found fat wreck chords i found plenty of good bands just as propagandhi, mxpx, the vandals, afi, the ramones, dead kennedys and good riddance. and as i sold a gimme gimmes 7", i got to know my one and only punk friend, who, thankfully, introduced like 10 other bloody cool bands to me
how i got into metal
okay it all started with a band called ac/dc, i liked them since i was born, and when i got home from a show of theirs in 2000 i listened to this new band called papa roach (nobody knew back then), and i fell in love with them and all this trash stuff like limp bizkit and korn. it was september 2001 when my very best metal friend introduced rob zombie and system of a down to me and we both stumbled into the "unkown" side of metal, including bands like static-x and coal chamber. he also made me like powerman 5k and godsmack (i really hated them for a year). from that very moment on i think, i started to really get into metal. too much, no i even got a godsmack tattoo on my back and a static-x tattoos about ot follow on my leg... who cares...?
